It's like a reminder of what we as women are supposed to practice. I was expecting a little more but then again we are responsible of ourselves and sometimes is just a little guidance or friendly reminder needed
The author does a terrific job at providing numerous tips on how to stay healthy! My wife picked up a copy of this book as she was looking to make improvements in her lifestyle. She has learned so much!
Contrary to what you might think from just looking at the title, this book is FAR more than just about working out and getting fit. Instead, this book focuses on LOTS of different aspects of your health that busy women tend to overlook. From stress to menopause to sleeping habits, this book has it all! Highly recommended for all women!
This book was originally for my wife (I'm trying to show her just what a wide range of titles are available on ). To be completely honest, I expected one or two basic hints on staying healthy and not much else. How wrong could I have been!
This is one of the most complete books on, well, everything that I have read! It goes so far beyond just basic health. There are chapters on subjects ranging from sleep apnea to balancing family and friends. It is easy to read, explaining everything in a friendly and down-to-earth style.
The real surprise for me (as a man) was just how much of this advice was useful for both sexes and actually for the whole family. I started off reading this over my wife's shoulder, but actually went through it myself afterwards again. My wife particularly appreciated the information about dealing with a demanding family (I've no idea why!) as well as the practical stuff in the heart, bladder and breast sections. I found the part on snoring absolutely fascinating and hopefully one or two of the tips will have an immediate effect.
Overall, this was an eye-opener for. So much information in a well-written package. Good work Tara Collins.
